About the Role:We are seeking a highly capable Technical Product Owner (TPO) to lead and drive product vision, roadmap alignment, and delivery execution for modernization initiatives.
This role is pivotal in transforming legacy C++ systems into scalable, cloud-native solutions, while enhancing product compliance, configurability, and user experience.
The ideal candidate possesses deep domain knowledge in commercial and B2 B lending and experience working with loan origination and servicing systems, compliance-driven platforms, and modernization projects.Responsibilities:Own, refine, and evolve the product backlog for the Laser Pro modernization program, ensuring alignment with strategic business outcomes, compliance requirements, and technical readiness.Translate lending workflows, business requirements, and customer problems into clear epics, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.Perform Scrum Master duties for the multi-shore teams, including facilitating ceremonies, removing blockers, and driving continuous improvement.Act as a Business Analyst when needed — eliciting requirements, mapping workflows, and validating solutions with business and technical stakeholders.Partner with business leaders, engineering leads, legal/compliance SMEs, QA, and UX/design to prioritize features and resolve dependencies.Lead modernization initiatives such as:Migration from C++ to.
NET Core or JavaDocument storage transformation (Azure Files to Atlas DB)Agent orchestrator redesign and Git Hub migrationETL pipelines for secure zone data segregationPrioritize features based on customer value, technical complexity, compliance needs, and time-to-market.Champion Agile best practices and continuously optimize workflows across distributed teams.Support integration efforts with our Client's products, third-party systems and solutions.Ensure deliverables meet high standards of quality, scalability, security, and compliance, particularly during critical migration milestones.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager, ideally in fintech or B2 B commercial lending.Proven experience delivering modernization or migration efforts (e.g., monolith to microservices, cloud-native transitions).Experience working with engineering teams in technologies such as:.
NET Core, C++, Java, Angular, Azure, Kubernetes, and Git Hub Actions.Preferred Qualifications:Solid understanding of commercial lending products including term loans, syndicated loans, and asset-based lending.Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and documentation compliance in lending.Skills and Competencies:Strategic mindset with a bias for execution and iterative delivery.Exceptional ability to break down complex workflows into manageable deliverables.Strong communicator who can align cross-functional stakeholders and lead multi-team initiatives.Comfortable operating in large-scale enterprise environments with distributed teams and layered governance models.Adept with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, ADO, Git Hub Projects), and experienced in running backlog refinement, sprint planning, and demos.
