Please respond with an updated resume and the required details at the bottom of the email.Job Title: Security Firewall EngineerLocation: 100% remote / ISTDuration: 6-12 MonthsJob Description:We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Senior Security Engineer to support the design, deployment, and ongoing operations of secure network infrastructure.
This role requires deep hands-on expertise with Fortinet Forti Gate Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), including advanced threat protection and VPN services, as well as strong proficiency in configuring and managing Citrix Net Scaler (ADC) load balancers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong operational mindset with a focus on availability, performance, and security.Key Responsibilities:Deploy, configure, and maintain Forti Gate firewalls, including:NGFW features: IPS, application control, web filtering, antivirus, etc.IPsec and SSL VPN tunnels for site-to-site and remote accessHigh Availability (HA) clustering and health checksFirewall rules, NAT, routing, and segmentation policiesManage and optimize Citrix Net Scaler (ADC) appliances for:Load balancing of web and application servicesSSL offloading, certificate installation, and renewalContent switching, rewrite/responder policies, and access controlMonitor and troubleshoot firewall and Net Scaler performance, logs, and alertsPerform regular security rule reviews, software upgrades, and vulnerability remediationAssist with incident response and forensic analysis involving firewall and Net Scaler trafficDocument configurations, procedures, and operational runbooksCollaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to enforce security standards and support project needsRequired Qualifications:5–8 years of experience in network security engineering rolesDeep hands-on experience with Forti Gate firewalls, including NGFW and VPN features2–3 years of operational experience with Citrix Net Scaler ADCStrong understanding of TCP/IP, routing (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, and access control conceptsExperience managing security logs and events, and familiarity with SIEM workflowsAbility to perform detailed troubleshooting with packet capture and diagnostics toolsPreferred Qualifications:Fortinet NSE 4/5 or higher certificationsCitrix networking certifications (CCA-N, CCP-N)
