The role involves managing hardware, software, ERP systems (Including Implementations), and ensuring cybersecurity while supporting production, logistics, inventory, and administrative functions.
The IT Head will also work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to align IT solutions with business objectives.
Key Description:1.
IT Infrastructure Management Oversee installation, maintenance, and upgrade of servers, networks, printers, and PCs.
Manage LAN/WAN, firewalls, switches, routers, and internet connectivity.
Ensure uptime and reliability of IT systems across all departments (production, accounts, sales, etc.2.
ERP & Software Management Implement, Administer and troubleshoot ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics Navision or Business Center or custom solutions).
Support integration of ERP with production and inventory systems.
Coordinate with vendors for ERP customization and updates.3.
Cyber security & Data Management Implement security protocols and backup systems.
Monitor for vulnerabilities, threats, and ensure compliance with data protection laws.
Regularly back up production data, financial data, and user files.4.
Plant Automation & Industry for Support Support automation projects in production (e.g., CNC systems, SCADA, Io T).
Work with production managers to ensure technology integration enhances efficiency.5.
User Support & Training Provide Level 1 and 2 support to users for software, hardware, and network issues.
Train staff on new technologies, tools, and security practices.6.
Vendor & Asset Management Coordinate with external vendors for procurement, AMC, and software licensing.
Maintain IT asset inventory and control IT budgets.
Job Specifications: Candidate must have Strong Experience in Google, Excel, MIS, Server based Data Management, Hardware management, Server Management, Networking etc…Age of candidate must be 40+ Years Candidate must be from Manufacturing background only Must have at least 5+ years of Experience of ERP Implementation and monitoring preferably Microsoft Dynamics Navision/Axapta/Business Center Candidate must have worked as IT Head irrespective of designation Required Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and ERP systems.
Experience in managing IT operations in a manufacturing or industrial setup.
Problem-solving and project management skills.
Understanding of business processes in production, inventory, and supply chain.
Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
Experience with factory automation systems.
