We craft unique, high-end properties with exceptional design, functionality, and guest engagement, ensuring every Spacez villa is an unforgettable destination.Role Summary:We are seeking a Associate Art Director with a strong background in the Bollywood or any regional film industry to conceptualize and create immersive, themed interiors for our luxury villas.
The ideal candidate has experience in designing for sets or high-end environments, with an eye for drama, storytelling, and aesthetic appeal.Key Responsibilities:Concept Development:Design unique, cinematic themes for each villa, leveraging your experience in visual storytelling.Collaborate with the team to align creative concepts with the Spacez brand ethos.Interior Styling:Source and curate furniture, props, artwork, and décor to align with dramatic and luxury design themes.Incorporate design techniques from the film industry to enhance visual appeal and ambiance.Space Utilization:Optimize layouts for functionality, ensuring spaces balance aesthetic storytelling with guest comfort.Integrate standout features like photo-worthy setups, creative lighting, and bold visual elements inspired by film set designs.Budget & Vendor Management:Manage budgets for each project, ensuring cost-effective sourcing without compromising on quality.Leverage industry networks to collaborate with skilled vendors, contractors, and artisans.Execution & Supervision:Oversee the end-to-end design process, from ideation to on-site execution.Ensure that all elements of the design are accurately realized and maintained to high standards.Incorporating Innovation:Introduce techniques and design trends from the film industry to create one-of-a-kind guest experiences.Experiment with lighting, textures, and materials for maximum impact and uniqueness.Feedback & Iteration:Gather and incorporate feedback from the management team, property owners, and guests.Continuously improve designs to meet evolving expectations and enhance guest satisfaction.Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Design, Architecture, Fine Arts, or a related field.2+ years of experience in the same role for Bollywood or the film industry (set design, art direction, or similar roles).A portfolio showcasing cinematic design projects, especially in luxury, high-aesthetic environments.Expertise in spatial planning, set lighting, and storytelling through design.Proficiency in design tools like Auto CAD, Sketch Up, Photoshop, or equivalent.Strong project management skills and ability to work within tight timelines.Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities.Preferred Qualities:A deep understanding of Bollywood or regional film aesthetics and cultural themes.Existing network of artisans, vendors, and suppliers in Bangalore/Mumbai.Experience in designing high-end, cinematic, or thematic spaces beyond film sets.Passion for crafting immersive environments that tell a story.Why Join Spacez?Opportunity to apply your cinematic design expertise in the hospitality industry.Collaborate with a dynamic team and shape the future of luxury villas in India.Competitive salary, exposure to high-profile projects, and creative freedom to innovate.
