Role


Tridel Technologies, a multinational company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Draftsman with over 10 years of experience to join team on the International and National (Indian) projects. The selected candidate will operate from Baroda, will collaborate closely with civil engineers, architects, and project managers and team to prepare detailed technical drawings for marine and civil works, including piling, dolphins, mooring systems, and associated oil terminal infrastructure.


Responsibilities


· Develop and prepare detailed 2D and 3D civil drawings for piling layouts, dolphins, mooring systems, and related marine structures in accordance with engineering designs and specifications.

· Draft and update civil and structural designs for foundation works, retaining walls, drainage systems, roads, and other infrastructure related to oil terminal projects.

· Prepare detailed drawings for the installation and positioning of piles, fenders, bollards, and mooring systems ensuring accuracy and compliance with project objectives.

· Collaborate with engineers to develop drawings for marine structures such as loading/unloading platforms, access trestles, and other terminal-related facilities.

· Review and coordinate designs with structural, geotechnical, and mechanical engineers, ensuring the integration of all relevant systems.

· Conduct site visits as needed to gather data and verify design assumptions for piling and mooring installations.

· Update and revise drawings based on project modifications, engineer inputs, and design changes.

· Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and project-specific guidelines.

· Prepare quantity take-offs and assist in developing bill of materials for piling, dolphins, and mooring structures.

· Organize and maintain all drawing files, including revisions and as-built records.

· Collaborate with the project team, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication of design intent and technical details.



Qualifications & Experience


· Diploma in Civil Engineering or Drafting or equivalent.

· 10+ years of experience in civil drafting, with a focus on marine structures, piling, mooring systems, and oil terminal infrastructure.

· Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other drafting software.

· Experience working on piling, trestles, dolphins, and mooring systems in large-scale industrial or marine projects is highly desirable.

· Experience working in Bridges, Large scale buildings, Jetties, Marinas etc.

· Knowledge of local and international standards for marine infrastructure, piling works, and oil terminal designs.

· Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, including structural, geotechnical, and hydraulic design.

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings for marine and civil works.

· Excellent attention to detail and managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

· Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.


Preferred Skills


· Experience with 3D modeling software such as Revit.

· Familiarity with marine construction techniques, especially in oil & gas projects.

· Experience with project management software like Primavera or MS Project.

· Understanding of surveying techniques and site inspection for piling and mooring installations.

· Ability to mentor junior draftsmen and provide technical guidance.
