As a Subject Matter Expert for Workplace Services, Engineering team, you will primarily focus on developing, providing support and maintenance for Microsoft Active Directory GPO’s and related activities. To ensure success as a SME, you should have in-depth knowledge of Windows OS, advanced PowerShell scripting knowledge, and the ability to solve complex IT issues. This role requires close collaboration with various internal and external technologies and business teams.
Your responsibilities
Work with Microsoft Active Directory permissions and groups on multiple environments.
Configure and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security settings and software deployment across the network.
Creating and maintaining documentation of all systems and application configurations or modifications
Work with elevation privilege management solutions to limit administrator access
Supporting business users on application incidents/ changes requested
Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry best practices.
Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving problems by taking a proactive approach.
Ability to identify manual tasks or recurring tasks and implement automations.
Provides day-to-day Tier 3 support and troubleshooting.
Perform knowledge transfer sessions for new team members and create trainings.

Your profile
To be successful in this role you have:
Batchelor degree in Engineering or Computer Science and 5+ years of relevant IT experience in administering enterprise level IT infrastructure solutions within multinational organizations.
Experience with Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, NAT, KMS, PKI
Thorough understanding of Active Directory GPOs at an expert level
Strong scripting skills and focus on automation with PowerShell.
Working experience with elevation privilege management tools is required.
Experience in customer-facing or customer technical support role
Extensive knowledge of Windows operating system overall.
Independent, self-motivated, and willing to learn new technologies.
Furthermore, you are:
Able to analyze and deconstruct technical problems.
High analytical skills
Capable to communicate clearly and effectively.
Experienced in working Agile and/ or on a Lean + ITIL environment.
Microsoft certified is a plus.
