Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Engineer located in Bengaluru. As an Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities will be the following:


Assembly/Production:

  • Procurement of all electrical components required for the manufacturing. It will involve constant communication with multiple vendors. 
  • Inventory management, batch planning, and managing lead times
  • Testing and debugging the critical electrical components used in the machine such as the motor controller, LEDs, and other sub-systems


R&D:

  • Embedded programming for experimental products
  • Prototyping with the electrical system, figuring out the system’s requirements such as sensors, connectors, etc.
  • Taking up critical soldering tasks for debugging and prototyping when required 
  • Familiarity with electronic design automation (EDA) software such as KiCAD for PCB design and manufacturing is a plus 


Management: 

  • You will be heading the production team, responsible for ensuring task priority, managing everyone’s work responsibility, and maintaining a healthy environment between & across the team. 
  • Cross-team communication with other teams 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Strong background in Robotics and Embedded systems


Skills:

  • Programming languages: Python, C++, Shell
  • Microcontrollers: ESP32, STM32
  • IDE: Arduino, Platform IO
  • EDA: KiCAD, Altium (Optional)
  • Electrical (Bonus): Familiarity with BLDC motor & Motor Controller, Buck/Boost converter, PCB Design
