ABOUT THIS JOB

Nielsen is the industry’s most trusted data analytics solution for video content across all platforms and devices. We follow modern security practices to uphold the privacy and security of all our data and systems. We are looking for a strategic, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a security analyst. Your responsibilities will include interfacing with the business to identify and reduce risk through the support of the fusion operations center. This role will have the unique opportunity to work in both the cyber and physical security realms, so having a diverse background in law enforcement, criminal justice, and cyber security is a plus.To be successful as a security analyst, you should have excellent attention to detail as well as strong strategic planning skills. Identifying possible security threats and determining the best security measuresEnsure technical implementation and business processes are alignedDesigning, implementing, and maintaining security protocols, policies, plans, and systems to cover all possible security threats.Provide complex technical advice, recommendations and consultancy on networks, infrastructure, products and services suppliedRunning risk assessment and security tests and designing countermeasures to eliminate as many potential risks as possible.Suggesting improvements to existing security systems.Remaining up to date with the latest security systems, tools, trends, and technology.Training staff to recognize and defend against security breaches and risks.Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade cybersecurity measures to protect enterprise data and infrastructure.Provide or assist with implementation documentationOngoing project managemen

QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor's degree in computer science, security, law enforcement, criminal science, or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in cyber securityExcellent technical skills for building security architecture aligned with the business's requirements.Great communication skills and the ability to present technical jargon in an understandable way.Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.A highly logical, honest, and objective nature.Good teamwork and time management skills.
