ABOUT THE ROLE

Role SUMMARY

Sortly, known for its simplicity and ease of use, is seeking experienced Frontend Engineers passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences. Lead a team of developers, design outstanding frontend interfaces, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, testable code. Collaborate with UX and PM teams, drive best engineering practices, and stay updated with the latest frontend technologies.

What you'll be doing:

Lead a team of 3-4 frontend developersDesign and deliver awesome frontend product experience for our customersWrite clear, readable and testable codeWork with UX and PM teams to iterate and deliver the frontend experience balancing functionality, performance and usabilityDo code reviews, participate in architecture discussionsEvaluate and adopt technologies that improve developer productivity, code simplicity and new functionality

What should you have:

5+ years of experience in React/Angular/Vue or any similar modern frameworksExperience with Typescript is a plusExperience in working with APIs & relevant middleware to access themAbility to effectively debug issues to identify and address root causes with a focus on performanceDemonstrated rigor in following and advocating for the best engineering practices
