Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Artificial Intelligence at an EdTech startup in Gurugram. The Head of Artificial Intelligence will oversee and manage the development and implementation of AI technologies and systems, as well as lead a team of AI professionals. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting research, analyzing data, and designing AI solutions to drive innovation and business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive AI/ML initiatives, from ideation to execution, aligning with business goals and objectives.
- Develop and deploy scalable recommendation engines and personalized user experiences.
- Architect and maintain efficient data pipelines for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets.
- Mentor and manage a team of full-stack engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Collaborate with product management, data science, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in AI/ML technologies, recommending adoption where appropriate.
- Ensure robustness, scalability, and performance of AI systems in production.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (10+ years) leading AI/ML projects and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and other relevant AI/ML frameworks.
- Experience with building recommendation engines, personalization algorithms, and data pipelines at scale.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for deploying AI solutions.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset towards technology solutions.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
