Senior Accountant / VP of Finance (Temporary, Full-Time | Remote) Venture Capital Firm | US Time Zone (6pm-3am IST) | Big 4 Preferred We are a venture capital firm  hiring a Senior Accountant / VP of Finance  on a temporary full-time remote basis, with strong potential to extend. You will report directly to the Director and lead month-end close, reconciliations, audit support, cross-border payments, and financial reporting . Key Responsibilities Own month-end close , accruals, reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, and reporting. Serve as primary audit liaison ; maintain audit-ready schedules and controls. Reconcile Suspense/Clearing accounts  and implement preventive control policies. Oversee cross-border payments , tax treatment, and documentation for VC operations. Manage workflows in Net Suite, Quick Books, or similar ERPs ; build and improve finance processes. Mandatory 48-Hour Practical Test (Shortlisted candidates only) 1-page Month-End Close Checklist  for a ~5-person VC-backed firm 3 Adjusting Journal Entries  (with workings) from a provided Trial Balance Reconciliation  of a Suspense Clearing
