About the Role We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of the Earnings vertical at Airtel Payments Bank. This role plays a critical part in enabling seamless settlement and commission experiences across the Bank’s Business Correspondent (BC) network and merchant ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Sales & Distribution to deliver scalable, compliant, and user-centric product solutions that power Airtel Payments Bank’s growing financial ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Own and enhance the commissions platform for the bank including onboarding new use cases, configuration, and CBC (Channel Business Correspondent) commissions. Drive development for merchant settlements, ensuring timely and accurate payment reconciliation. Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable architecture for high-volume transactions. Partner with sales & distribution, finance, operations, and compliance teams to align payouts and settlements with regulatory standards. Define clear product requirements, write PRDs, and manage product roadmaps and release plans. Use data-driven insights to optimize transaction failures and reduce operational inefficiencies. Support new business initiatives by enabling flexible commission configurations and onboarding new use cases efficiently. Qualifications & Skills required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. 2-5 years of experience in PM, preferably in fintech, payments, or banking technology. Strong understanding of digital payment systems, settlement processes, and commission management platforms. Experience working with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Ops, Finance). Proven track record of shipping scalable backend or platform products. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Why Join Us?
