Job Summary:

The Infrastructure Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Cloud4C customer’s IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OS, network, server, and data centre technologies. This role involves working closely with customers during their working hours and ensuring their service requests are taken care of by the internal technical teams. Also is responsible to jump into incident calls during outages of the environment and drive them to closure with the help of an Incident Manager.

Key Responsibilities:Infrastructure Management:Oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of customer’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and private and public cloud services.Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of infrastructure components.Security & Compliance:Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard the customer’s IT assets.Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer’s local regulatory requirements.Incident & Problem Management:Lead the response to infrastructure-related incidents/outages, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents and implement corrective actions/permanent fixes to prevent recurrence.Project Management:Plan and execute infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.Ensure successful project delivery within scope, time, and budget.Reporting:Prepare monthly reports covering the details of customer environment including availability, resource utilization and operational SLAs.Customer Connect:Stay in regular contact with customer’s IT and business teams to stay on top of customer’s requirements.Documentation:Work with technical teams and put together the customer’s

and maintain it for up-to-date accuracy.Work closely with technical teams and put in place documentation post major activities like DR Drill.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.5-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 3 years in a customer facing role.Strong knowledge of network, OS, server, storage, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, VMware).Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.Proven track record of managing infrastructure projects and leading teams.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Certifications:ITIL Foundation or Practitioner – Must haveProject Management Certification a plusWork Environment:Fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.May require occasional after-hours work to manage incidents or perform maintenance.
