The candidate should have knowledge on Hadoop architecture and its components like Hive, Impala, Yarn, Ranger, Sentry, Zookeeper and Solr.-

General operational expertise such as good troubleshooting skills, understanding of system's capacity, bottlenecks, basics of memory, CPU, OS, storage, and networks.-

Good knowledge of Linux as Hadoop runs on Linux-

Performance tuning of Hadoop clustersResponsibilities-

Manage and review Hadoop log files. File system management and monitoring.-

Working with data delivery teams to setup new Hadoop users. This job includes setting up Linux users, setting up Kerberos principals and testing HDFS, Hive, Impala and MapReduce access for the new users.-

Knowledge on Azure Databricks, Starburst, Streamsets and Airflow would be an added advantage-

Candidate should be able to work on configuration of Hadoop and deploy Hadoop cluster, commissioning and decommissioning of nodes in cluster, should have knowledge on High-availability concept.-

Responsible for monitoring clusters, clearing the alerts, taking critical backups like namenode, database, etc-

Should have knowledge on Cluster upgrade activity.
