This job opportunity closely aligns driving business on our eCommerce channel across multiple platforms. The eCommerce Search Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing discovery of our products to ensure the best possible customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of search algorithms, SEO best practices, and data analysis to improve search visibility, drive traffic, and increase conversion rates.
What are the Key Deliverables in this role ?
 Consumer Insights: Independently provide data-driven insights that meet the diverse needs of stakeholders, including marketing teams and ecommerce business owners, covering trends in consumer, categories, product reviews in participating and adjacent categories.
 Marketing Impact Analytics : Evaluate the impact of marketing activations, including display campaigns, search media, digital and offline media on sales, customer acquisition and retention for our brands.
 Sales Analysis : Analyze sales and offtake data identifying key drivers of performance. Conduct competitor benchmarking and category analyses to uncover growth opportunities.
 Performance Metrics: Define relevant metrics to assess business performance, conduct in-depth analyses, and create dashboards and reports for tracking for key account management, operations and category marketing teams.
 Data Management: Streamline and maintain integrity of different data streams Catalog, Sales, Market share, Campaigns, Insights and validation of different sources.
 Market Intelligence & Automation: Collaborate closely with internal teams such as digital, marketing, as well as external partners in the ecommerce data and analytics space, to enhance measurement and tracking capabilities. Drive the automation of reporting and insights generation across different data platforms in collaboration with the IT teams
What are the Critical success factors for the Role ?
 Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 4+ years of experience in data and business analysis, finance in eCommerce retail or FMCG
 Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools with ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable optimization strategies.
 Understanding and proficiency in Microsoft product suite, specifically Excel, Power Query, VBA macros
 Demonstrated ability in learning new reporting or BI tools such as PowerBI, Clearview
 Fluency in programming languages such as SQL (Python – is a plus)

 Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
 Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights and strategies effectively to a range of stakeholders.
