Embedded - Infotainment Validation Engineer

Location - Pune

Experience - 1-6yrs

Skill and Competency requirements

1. Hands on experience in development and integration of Infotainment systems and it’s child modules in vehicle environment

2.validation and verification planning of an automotive ECU development

3. software failure mode analytical skills

4. software systems understanding and issue debugging

5. Knowledge of wiring harness, connectors, electronics components, circuit design, debugging etc 6. Well versed with CAN tools, simulation, de-bugging and its design requirements

7. Well conversant with measurements instruments, tools and related software

8. Knowledge of product reliability standards and reference standards like IEC, EMI/EMC

9. Multiple project handling and time management

10. Knowledge of international process standards like EMS, ISO, TS 16949

11. Good verbal and written communication skills

12. Basic knowledge of Automotive ECU and Software development process

Job Description:

1. Leading a validation team and ensure timely completion of validation of infotainment software.2. Test set up design and preparation.3. Bench level testing Lab car testing Vehicle level testing Coordination with suppliers and internal validation stake holders4. Basic root cause analysis of Hardware and software issues Issue reproduction log collection Test reports and dashboard preparation

Any Other Specific requirements:

Knowledge of basics of Acoustics- speakers, car amplifiers Knowledge of electronic software part like microcontroller, digital signal processing will be added advantage Knowledge of Android apps, connected car technologies will be added advantage.
