Senior PHP Developer

Experience: 5–9 years

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications using the Laravel framework
• Write clean, optimized, secure, and well-documented code following best practices
• Lead application architecture design, code structuring, and performance optimization
• Debug and resolve complex issues in existing applications with minimal turnaround time
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Mentor and guide junior developers, conducting regular code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to development standards
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in PHP, Laravel, and web technologies to propose improvements and innovations

Requirements:

• 5–9 years of professional experience in PHP development
• Strong expertise in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, RESTful APIs, and MVC architecture
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative workflows (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)
• Knowledge of database design, query optimization, and caching techniques
• Familiarity with testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes
• Ability to handle project ownership and deliver solutions within deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
