Full-Stack Developer Trainee

Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid) Experience: 0–1 years (Freshers Welcome) Role Type: Full-Time – Trainee Program (6 Months) No of Positions: 6 About the Role SandLogic is looking for highly motivated Full-Stack Developer Trainees who want to build modern web applications and grow into engineers capable of working with LLMs (Large Language Models) and Agentic AI systems . In this program, you will be trained in Node.js, Next.js, TypeScript , and modern full-stack practices. You will also gain exposure to Shakti LLM, LingoForge, RAG workflows, embeddings, vector databases, and agentic AI frameworks . You will shadow senior full-stack developers, LLM engineers, and Agenti developers, contributing to real-world projects and AI-driven platforms. What You Will Learn Full-Stack Engineering (Core Focus) Building modern frontend applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript . Writing backend services and APIs using Node.js , Express, NestJS (if applicable), and microservice patterns. Building dashboards, admin tools, and AI-interactive interfaces. Integrating REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectures. AI Integration (Beginner Level Exposure) Basics of LLMs, embeddings, tokenization, and inference workflows. Hands-on exposure to integrating Shakti LLM and Lexicon models into applications. Understanding how RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines work. Working with Vector DBs like FAISS, Milvus, Pinecone (beginner level). Introduction to Agentic AI frameworks like AutoGen, LangChain, and Agenti. Software Engineering Practices Git, GitHub workflows, code reviews, and documentation. Writing clean, modular code and reusable components. Debugging, testing, and optimizing frontend & backend code. Working in agile teams and sprint-based execution. Key Responsibilities Assist in developing frontend components using Next.js and React . Support backend development using Node.js , TypeScript, and database integrations. Work alongside senior developers to build and maintain scalable API services. Help integrate LLM features into web applications. Participate in internal demos, daily standups, and training sessions. Experiment with new tools, libraries, and AI technologies to learn continuously. Required Skills (Foundational Level) Basic understanding of JavaScript or TypeScript . Knowledge of Node.js OR Next.js (even at beginner or project level). Understanding of web fundamentals: HTML, CSS, REST APIs. Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases. Good problem-solving skills and strong willingness to learn. Good to Have (but NOT mandatory) Academic or personal projects built using Node.js, React, or Next.js. Basic exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure). Awareness of LLMs, chatbots, or AI concepts through coursework or self-learning.
