We are looking for a solid candidate for a QA - Manual Testing (CONTRACTUAL).

8 hours a day (flexible IST) REMOTE

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with experience in Cypress, JavaScript, and testing React applications. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure high-quality software releases. This is a contractual freelancing position, requiring 8 hours of work during evening shifts, starting after 4 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated test cases using Cypress for end-to-end testing of React applications.
  • Collaborate with developers to understand application functionality and user stories.
  • Implement and maintain testing frameworks in JavaScript for UI and API tests.
  • Execute and analyze automated tests, identify defects, and work with teams to resolve issues.
  • Ensure testing coverage and reliability by writing detailed test plans and strategies.
  • Continuously improve the test automation processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in QA automation testing with Cypress.
  • Strong Experience with JavaScript and proficiency in testing React applications.
  • Familiarity with software testing best practices, including test case creation, bug tracking, and reporting. Ability to work independently and deliver results during the evening shift.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Experience with testing tools such as Jest, Mocha, or other JavaScript-based testing frameworks, and Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman.
