The role involves designing test cases, executing test plans, and documenting results.Roles & Responsibilities● Develop and execute manual and/or automated test cases for software applications.● Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.● Collaborate with developers, services, and stakeholders to understand requirements and validate application functionality.● Perform defect tracking and reporting using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or Bugzilla.● Execute SQL queries to validate database integrity.● Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.● Maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and execution logs.● Conduct regression testing to ensure software stability and reliability.● Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in testing and recommend process improvements.● Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives to provide testability and product quality feedback.● Document test plans, test cases and contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing sessions.Essential Experience● Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.● Excellent analysis skills with tenacious attention to detail.● Agile Testing, Testing Lifecycle knowledge● Working with any Test Management Tools like HP ALM, Jira , Xray, Zephyr , IBM RationalDesired Experience● Software development experience● Understanding of clinical trial processes● Knowledge of File storage solutions & Cloud concepts is a plus
