- The job requires 8 to 14 years of experience and involves 2 rounds of interview.- The candidate must have detailed engineering experience, but construction experience is not acceptable.- The role is for a Senior Project Engineer in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.- The candidate will be responsible for implementing and ensuring the understanding of the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Policy and the Information Security policies among supervised staff.- They will ensure scope and contract compliance within an allocated sub-area of a project.- They will handle discipline coordination, problem resolution, expediting and facilitating the delivery of the Engineering scope to schedule within the assigned sub-area.- They will be responsible for the production of assigned Project Engineering deliverables, ensuring their technical quality.- They will coordinate seamlessly with IEC.- The Area Project Engineer will be assigned to a geographical area of a major project and will coordinate the engineering of several Process Units or Facilities.- The Area Project Engineer will be the key point of contact for the client and wood personnel for any issues within the area.- They will be fully familiar with the scope within the assigned area and accountable for progress, hold points, coordination and achieving the project schedule for that area.- They will oversee the activities and deliverables of all assigned Project Engineers.- They will execute tasks in line with the area man-hour budget plus approved changes.- They must be able to check engineering deliverables in a multi-discipline task force based engineering environment.- Experience in FEED and EPC engineering execution including Field Engineering in Project execution is desirable.
