Technical Skills and Competencies:


As a Senior Engineer, you will be contributing to the software development and test activities required to design and develop a test bench software solution and/or software components/ building blocks associated with it. In more details:


  • Formalizes the software function description in line to software architectural design and requirements.
  • Follows the engineering development plans used to develop the software. He/ she follows, conveys and seeks to improve related best practices, with a focus on user experience.
  • Performs development activity as per the CHORUS 2.0 process.
  • Participates in issue investigation to deliver high quality products and services.
  • Details the low-level requirements and supports software design, development and testing to meet the requirements.
  • Develops software components to control test and measurement instruments using SCPI or other driver commands.
  • Design, implement and test features with scalability, performance, deployment/operation and end-user experience in mind
  • Performs the test software development and test sequence to test the units under test (UUT) on the test bench solution.



Minimum Skills/Experience:


  • Should have at least 5 to 8 years of overall Industrial experience in design and development.
  • Strong programming skills – Python and C language. Also is able to read code in C, understand the algorithm and develop in python language.
  • Have worked with software hardware integration testing with different test and measurement instrument drivers (IVI, VISA, and SCPI).
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate with international teams effectively.
  • Knows and enjoys designing, developing and testing secure software solutions and/or components
  • Good knowledge of IS Computing Platforms, Operating Systems and Agile principles.
