Experience Required :

- Minimum of 10 years of experience working with SQL Server.

- Minimum of 7 years of experience designing, developing, testing, and implementing ETL solutions using SSIS.

Database Design and Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain databases to support application development and marketing programs.

- Create and manage data warehouses, OLTP, and OLAP databases to ensure data integrity, scalability, and performance.

- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to support business requirements.

ETL Development :

- Design, develop, document, and test ETL solutions using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for the integration of various data sources.

- Implement both manual and automated data integration processes.

- Ensure data quality and consistency across different databases and platforms.

Performance Optimization :

- Perform database and query optimization to enhance performance and efficiency.

- Conduct database profiling and tuning to identify and correct performance bottlenecks.

- Analyze and resolve issues related to query performance, data integrity, and database design.

Troubleshooting and Bug Fixing:

- Identify, diagnose, and correct bottlenecks and bugs in existing SQL queries and ETL processes.

- Implement best practices for database and ETL development to minimize errors and downtime.

Collaboration and Documentation :

- Work closely with application developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective database solutions.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all database designs, ETL processes, and optimization efforts.

- Provide training and support to junior team members and other departments as needed.

Technical Skills :

- Proficient in SQL Server (2008 and later) with a strong understanding of T-SQL.

- Extensive experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL development.

- Strong knowledge of data modeling, database design, and normalization principles.

- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.

- Familiarity with other MSBI tools like SSRS and SSAS is a plus.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and documentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus
