Position Summary:
Project Manager will oversee planning, execution, and delivery of Java development projects. Project manager will possess excellent leadership, communication, customer management and technical skills, to effectively manage team and drive project success.
Role and Responsibilities:
the planning, execution, and delivery of Java projects within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with customers, stakeholders and team members.
stories, develop detailed project plans, translate into delivery sprints with schedules, and allocate resources to ensure successful project execution.
and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively to minimize disruptions to project timelines and deliverables.
with Business Head and Product teams to understand product backlog, review user stories and participate in design solution.
project progress, track key performance indicators, and report project status to stakeholders regularly.
all products are built to a high level of quality for market release (alpha / beta / production).
project budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
a collaborative team environment by providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project management processes, tools, and methodologies.
compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Technical Skills:
experience of 12+ years in managing software development projects, with a focus on Java technologies.
understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
technical background with a deep understanding of Java programming language and related technologies.
PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are a plus.
Behavioural Skills:
leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate team members.
working in a cross-functional team environment and managing diverse project stakeholders.
to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges.
