Senior Engineer – Integration Testing

Job Description

Education

Bachelor’s in Engineering in EEE/ECE/EIE/IC or other equivalent or higher Engineering degree

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 6+ years Embedded and/or IoT system test experience.

• BE/BTECH and ME/MS preferred, with Electrical and/or Electronics Background.

• Experience in any scripting languages like Python, Perl, etc but open to be in involved in python development..

• Experience with embedded systems or testing complex systems comprised of hardware/software/firmware.

• Experience in validating the performance of wireless products (802.15.4, WiFi, Zigbee, Bluetooth low energy (BLE) networks etc) or equivalent product.

• Experience with Test automation of hardware devices including, sensors and similar devices

•

• Responsible for integration testing of firmware with IoT Systems.

• Skill and interest in improving accuracy and repeatability of testing techniques.

• Experience with system level test methodologies, interfacing test beds and controlling various measurements.

• Solid understanding of software and Firmware Test Design Life Cycle.

• Solid experience in testing microprocessor-based embedded and/or IoT implementations.

• Able to work independently, manage multiple projects to completion on schedule in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

• Experience in designing test strategy, test plan creation, test coverage matrix and traceability matrix.

• Detail-oriented, diligent self-starter with a proactive approach on test coverage.

• Follow safe work practices in an environment with potential electrical hazards.

• Should be a roll-up-the sleeves, trouble-shooter with ability to multi-task.
