Modeler/Analyst – Renewable Energy

Location:Bengaluru, Karnataka (Onsite)

Role Summary:As a modeler, you'll be engaged in conducting transmission and grid planning studies for different Indian states and globally. This role provides a chance to contribute to integrating renewable energy sources into transmission networks. Additionally, you'll lead efforts in planning to integrate other clean energy technologies into distribution networks.

Key Tasks & Accountability:Development of wind/solar power generation models using MS excel/Python or similarAnalysis of meteorological data setsWork on Energy transition Systems.Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within energy systems.Work on use cases related to transition of High emitting sectors in Energy to Low/No Carbon.Keeping track on the Renewable Energy market around the globeUnderstanding on the financial aspects of the renewable energy technologies (CAPEX, OPEX, LCOE, tariffs etc.)

Education and Experience:Domain expertise and qualifications include, but are not limited to:Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree relevant to the energy, engineering, environmental science, or a related field.Should have experience of 3-5 years in Energy Sector

Skills:Good understanding of the renowned solar/wind power generation modelsGood problem solving and analytical skillsShould have knowledge on Energy sectors like Fossil fuels, Renewables, Renewable energy storage solutions etc.Good understanding of EXCEL/Python/R or any other programming languagesGood understanding on mathematical modelingFair knowledge on the software like Homer/ PVsyst/SAM is preferred.
