Position Overview

The
Sr. Executive / Executive – Sales (GIT/FIT)
will focus on selling international and domestic group tours, customized packages, and other travel services. This role requires strong destination knowledge, client handling skills, and the ability to achieve sales targets in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and convert sales for
    GIT (Group Tours)
    and
    FIT (Customized Holidays)
    packages.
  • Handle walk-in, telephonic, and digital inquiries; provide quotations and customized itineraries.
  • Promote and sell international tours (Europe, USA, Asia, etc.) as well as domestic tours (Kashmir, Kerala, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Leh Ladakh, etc.).
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective lead follow-ups and conversions.
  • Coordinate with operations, visa, and ticketing teams for seamless execution of bookings.
  • Build strong client relationships to ensure repeat and referral business.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and destination updates.
  • Represent Akshar Travels in promotional events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
  • Maintain client records, sales pipeline, and reports using CRM tools.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate in Tourism, Hospitality, or Business (preferred).
  • Experience:
  • Sr. Executive:
    3–5 years in travel sales (GIT/FIT).
  • Executive:
    1–3 years in travel sales (GIT/FIT).
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and international destinations.
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills in
    English, Hindi, and Gujarati
    .
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of GDS/airline systems (Amadeus/Sabre/Galileo) is a plus.
  • Target-driven, customer-focused, and self-motivated.
