Job Description – Junior Accountant (AMMAGENOMICS LLP)

Position: Junior Accountant
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu (On-site)

About AMMAGENOMICS

AMMAGENOMICS is a NABL-accredited molecular diagnostics and research laboratory in Chennai, working on microbiome testing, antioxidant/polyphenol assays, and international patent projects. We manage R&D, diagnostics, and certified health product operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions in Tally/Zoho Books (sales, purchases, payments, receipts).
• Maintain cash/bank books, petty cash, vouchers, and expense records.
• Support in invoice generation for clients (domestic & international) and follow-up for payments.
• Assist in inventory and lab consumables expense accounting.
• Help with GST/TDS filing data preparation under guidance of CA.
• Reconcile bank statements and vendor/client ledgers.
• Maintain organized documentation for audit readiness (NABL, ISO, and statutory audits).

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com (Accounts/Finance) or related qualification.
• 0–2 years of experience in accounting (freshers may apply).
• Knowledge of Tally ERP / Zoho Books / MS Excel.
• Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
• Detail-oriented, good communication, and willingness to learn.
