This role focuseson designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance businessintelligence solutions using the Looker platform.Your Key Contributions:As a Looker Developer, you will:● Build & Maintain Complex LookML Models: Design and maintain reusable,high-performance LookML models supporting business analytics.● Develop Interactive Dashboards & Explores: Create visually compelling andinteractive dashboards and Explores to provide actionable insights.● Optimize Query & Dashboard Performance: Ensure fast query execution andscalable dashboard performance through SQL optimization and LookML bestpractices.● Translate Business Logic into LookML Code: Convert business requirements intorobust, maintainable LookML code.● Collaborate with Analysts & Stakeholders: Partner with business users, analysts,and data engineers to understand requirements and deliver impactful analyticssolutions.● Conduct Code Reviews & Mentor Junior Developers: Review LookML code forquality, performance, and adherence to standards; provide guidance to juniorteam members.● Governance & Administration: Support workspace administration, permissions,and deployment workflows in Looker.● Version Control & CI/CD: Implement Git-based version control and manage CI/CDpipelines for Looker development.Requirements:Candidates must possess:● Hands-on experience (3+ years) developing, deploying, and managing solutionswithin the Looker ecosystem.● Proficiency in LookML for building models, derived tables, and reusable views.● Strong SQL expertise for querying, transforming, and optimizing data fromrelational and cloud-based sources (BigQuery)● Experience with advanced Looker visualizations, dashboards, and Explores.● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills, withthe ability to present complex data insights clearly.Desirable Skills (Added Advantage):● Knowledge of Other BI Tools: Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableaudevelopment.● Cloud & Platform Skills: Experience with GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow,etc.) and integrating Looker with cloud-based data pipelines.● Looker Extension Application: Knowledge of building or customizing LookerExtension Applications to extend Looker functionality and embed analytics.● Version Control & CI/CD Expertise: Strong understanding of Git-based versioncontrol, Looker Git integration, and managing CI/CD workflows for Lookerdevelopment.● Custom Visualization Development: Experience creating custom visualizations inLooker using JavaScript or visualization APIs.Mandatory Skills✔ Hands-on experience (3+ years) developing, deploying, and managing solutionswithin the Looker ecosystem.✔ Proficiency in LookML for building models, derived tables, and reusable views.✔ Strong SQL expertise for querying, transforming, and optimizing data fromrelational and cloud-based sources (BigQuery)✔ Experience with advanced Looker visualizations, dashboards, and Explores.✔Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills, withthe ability to present complex data insights clearly.Important Note (Please Read Before Applying)Do NOT apply if:You have less than 5 years or more than 8 years of experienceYou do not have Hands-on experience (3+ years) developing, deploying, and managing solutions within the Looker ecosystem.You are on a notice period longer than 15 daysYou are looking for hybrid only (role is hybrid in Hyderabad )You are a fresher or unrelated background (e.g., support, testing only, non-Java roles)✅ Apply ONLY if you meet ALL criteria above.
