Qualifications:CA, LLB, LLM, or CSExperience:3–5 years(post qualification)Type:Full-Time | ContractualRole Overview:We are looking for an early-career professional inLegal journalism, reporting, tax research, writing, and analysisto join our Indirect Tax team.You will support the GST function bydrafting high-quality law reportson judgments, notifications, and court proceedings, backed by thorough research and interpretation.This role offers hands-on exposure and the opportunity to develop deep expertise in indirect tax.Key Responsibilities:Writeconcise headnotes, tax news reports by interpreting and summarizing case laws, legislative and policy changes.Attendcourt virtual or physical (wherever possible) court hearings, and prepare a precision news report .Interpret and summarize legislative and policy changesPrepare concise and accurate summaries and reports within deadlines.Maintain and regularly update tax databases and content repositoriesSkills & Attributes:Basic knowledge of GST, Customs, Service Tax, Excise, VAT, Sales Tax etcStrong research and analytical skillsExcellent written and verbal communication in EnglishHigh attention to detail and accuracyProactive and responsible, with the ability to handle urgent tasksEager to learn and grow in the field of indirect taxAbout Taxsutra:Founded in 2011,Taxsutraoperates leading digital platforms in the tax, accounting, and legal space.
