Job Description -Develop optical system design for quantum diamond microscopeCarry out experiments on semiconductor chip investigation with quantum diamond microscopeDevelop noise models for quantum diamond imaging with image reconstructionDesign and execute experiments involving nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers in diamond for high-sensitivity magnetometry for technology translationAnalyse experimental data to refine theoretical models and improve measurement protocols.Collaborate with team to integrate findings into existing quantum sensing setupsMinimum Qualifications and Experience -Ph.D. in Physics, Quantum Engineering or any related fieldORMaster’s in Physics, Quantum Engineering or any relevant discipline with 2-3 years of experience.Required Expertise -Strong knowledge of quantum sensing principles, particularly nitrogen-vacancy (NV) center physics.Hands-on experience in optical system design and precision experiments, including alignment, simulation tools (Zemax/COMSOL/LightTools), and setups involving lasers, optics, and optomechanics.Familiarity with automation and control systems (LabVIEW/FPGA) and data acquisition workflows.Proficiency in data modeling and analysis, covering noise modeling, image reconstruction, statistical analysis, and refinement of theoretical models (Python/MATLAB).Familiarity with automation and control systems (LabVIEW/FPGA) and data acquisition workflows.
