Sr Computer Scientist – Adobe Advertising
The Challenge

Adobe Advertising is the first end-to-end independent advertising and data management solution that spans traditional TV and digital formats, simplifying what has been a complex and fragmented process for the world’s biggest brands. We support many large enterprise customers in different parts of the world.
Building a robust fault tolerant and highly available system at very high scale while providing ease and convenience to disparate solutions and enterprise customers is a key to our success. We use Big Data, Open-Source technologies and home-grown solutions to develop various services for Adobe Solutions, Customers and Partners.
We are looking for a driven software architect who will define and own the full stack architecture of a family of browser delivered applications and will act as a trusted advisor to other engineering leaders. You are a specialist in modern web UI with an exceptional record of building and delivering sophisticated applications. You have the passion for architecting fabulous, intuitive front-end applications that are responsive and easy to learn and use. You excel at building both a system and a team, writing phenomenal code as well as being a role model to others. You participate in the latest industry trends and advocate strongly for standard methodologies and solutions.
What you will need to succeed
10+ years’ industry experience, including experience owning the development of enterprise-scale web applications Expertise in both frontend and backend services Expertise in Angular/React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and the modern JavaScript ecosystem Proficient in the use of Java and modern microservices architectures Proficient in Object Oriented analysis and design Experience with Spring or a similar framework Track record of delivering software releases on time with high quality Motivated self-starter with the ability to learn and adapt quickly Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with Agile Software Development techniques Experience with Cloud Computing such as AWS, Kubernetes BTech/MTech/MS in Computer Science Strong management and leadership skillsWhat you'll do
Architect and set the technical direction for large-scale web applications Drive coding standards and patterns for a large, distributed engineering team Build extraordinary user interfaces and API surfaces for user and organization management Participate in all aspects of software development activities including design, estimation, coding, code review, unit-testing and bug fixing Mentor junior developers to help our team reach its maximum potential Work in multi-functional teams to ensure superb end-to-end user experiences for our customers Fast prototyping of ideas and concepts Research the latest industry trendsAt Adobe, you will be immersed in an exceptional work environment that is recognized throughout the world on . you will also be surrounded by colleagues who are committed to helping each other grow through our unique approach where ongoing feedback flows freely.
