Kanan Modi Associates is looking for Senior Architects with 3-5 years of experience to join us in our studio in Hyderabad.

Role & responsibilities

  • Project Management: Overseeing a project from start to finish, including managing resources, ensuring quality standards, and addressing potential risks
  • Design: Using CAD software to create detailed drawings and renderings, and iterating designs based on client requirements
  • Compliance: Ensuring that designs comply with relevant building codes and legislation
  • Team management: Leading project teams, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring that team structure and roles are defined
  • Client interaction: Collaborating with clients to drive discussions to resolutions, and communicating client instructions to other design disciplines
  • Business development: Contributing to a firm's marketing efforts, cultivating client relationships, and winning new projects
  • Other responsibilities: Working with construction teams, liaising with government bodies, and providing input on finishing and furniture choices

Preferred candidate profile

  • Education and experience: A bachelor's degree in Architecture, and extensive experience as an Architect.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in Sketch-Up and Auto Cad.
  • Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Project management: Experience in managing multiple projects.
  • Design skills: Strong design and form-giving skills, and the ability to create architectural designs and concepts.
  • Time management, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task.
  • Professional demeanor: A professional demeanor, proactive problem solving, and the ability to keep a positive attitude.
