Responsibilities:Primary responsibility will be to teach English to senior students (Classes 9 to 12) prepare them for board exams,and inspire them to develop a deep understanding and appreciation of the subject. Be responsible forimplementing the CHIREC academic vision committed to the highest standards of student success.Job description• Teach English at the senior level (Classes 9 to 12) as per the prescribed curriculum by developingcomprehensive lesson plans and teaching strategies that adhere to the curriculum while engaging studentseffectively. Use a variety of teaching techniques (e.g., interactive lessons, problem-solving, real-lifeapplications) to cater to different learning styles and abilities.• Promote the improvement of teaching and learning in the school by participating in school activities, likeorganizing literary clubs, debates, or dramatics, to enhance the student’s interest and exposure in thesubject.• Preparing, conducting, and evaluating exams, assignments, and projects. Providing regular feedback tostudents on their performance and guiding them on areas of improvement and communicating withparents regarding students’ progress and academic challenges and providing recommendations forimprovement.• Create a safe and caring environment by maintaining a disciplined and conducive learning environment.Managing student behavior and addressing any concerns related to the academic or behavioral aspect ofstudents.• Offering academic guidance to students, helping them improve their skills in writing, reading, and speakingEnglish. Mentoring students with regards to their future academic or career aspirations.

Qualifications:● Master’s degree in English (M.A. English or equivalent).● Bachelor’s degree in education (B.Ed.) is preferred.● A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in English at the senior level (Classes 9 to 12).● Familiarity with the CBSE board norms.
