Key Responsibilities :


- Develop and execute automated tests: Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium to ensure the quality and functionality of web applications.


- Quality Engineering processes: Define, implement, and optimize QE processes and tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.


- Defect management: Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and communication with development teams.


- API testing: Utilize Postman for testing and validating APIs, ensuring they meet functional and performance requirements.


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.


- Performance optimization: Identify performance issues and work with the development team to optimize application performance.


- Version control and testing practices: Ensure adherence to version-control procedures and best practices in testing to maintain code quality and integrity.


- Database management: Utilize your superb computer proficiency, including database management, to support testing activities and ensure data integrity.


Required Skills and Qualifications :


- Deep knowledge of Quality Engineering processes and tools


- Strong understanding of Selenium Automation testing, JIRA, and Postman


- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills


- Demonstrated knowledge of testing practices, version-control procedures, and defect management processes


- Superb computer proficiency, including database management


Nice to Have Skills :


- Experience with performance testing tools


- Familiarity with other automation tools and frameworks


- Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices


- Experience in working in an Agile development environment.
