Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior React Native Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms using React Native. As a senior developer, you will lead the architecture design, code reviews, and best practices while mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and develop scalable mobile applications using React Native.
  • Lead the technical architecture of mobile apps, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with product managers and UI/UX designers to create seamless user experiences.
  • Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Ensure code quality through code reviews and writing testable, maintainable code.
  • Troubleshoot and debug to optimise application performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends and technologies.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, promoting best practices in development.

Requirements:


  • 5+ years of experience in mobile app development, with at least 3 years in React Native.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, ES6+, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
  • Familiarity with native build tools (Xcode, Android Studio) and mobile app deployment.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party library integration.
  • Solid understanding of mobile performance, profiling, and optimization techniques.
  • Knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:


  • Experience with native iOS/Android development (Swift, Objective-C, Java, Kotlin).
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

  • Prior experience in mentoring or leading a team.
