We are looking for a Design Draftsman to work closely with our project lead in preparing, revising, and maintaining 2D drawings for ongoing real estate and hospitality projects. The role requires strong technical drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, architects, and on-site contractors. While the primary focus will be on 2D drafting, occasional 3D work may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and update accurate 2D drawings (plans, elevations, sections, detailing) based on concepts and design inputs.
  • Prepare working drawings for consultants, contractors, and vendors as per project requirements.
  • Coordinate with external consultants (architectural, structural, MEP, interior) to ensure drawings are aligned and consolidated.
  • Work with on-site contractors to provide drawing clarifications and resolve technical discrepancies.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions quickly and accurately, maintaining version control of drawings.
  • Support in preparing tender sets, construction documents, and as-built drawings.
  • Occasionally assist in producing 3D visualizations or layouts when required.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, specifications, and timelines.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Drafting.
  • 2–5 years of experience in drafting (real estate, residential, commercial, or hospitality preferred).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or similar software is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, detailing, and site coordination.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Excellent accuracy, detailing, and documentation skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with consultants and contractors.
  • Ability to work under direction, with flexibility to adapt to project changes and timelines.
