About the Role :

- We are seeking a highly resourceful and innovative PHP Developer with strong expertise in web application development using PHP and MySQL.

- You will handle the development, maintenance, and enhancement of web applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and deploy dynamic websites and web applications using PHP and MySQL.

- Perform maintenance, enhancements, and new development as per business needs.

- Design and implement APIs, ensuring smooth integration with third-party services.

- Work closely with data analysts and use business intelligence applications to convert insights into actionable software features.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, developers, product managers) to convert business requirements into technical specifications.

- Optimize website performance and database queries to ensure fast load times and scalability.

- Document features, technical specifications, and infrastructure responsibilities.

- Implement best coding practices, security standards, and ensure responsive design for a smooth user experience.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software and applications as necessary.

- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices to continuously improve your skillset and the company's technological capabilities.

Required Qualifications :

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in PHP web development and software design.

- Proficiency with PHP frameworks such as CodeIgniter (mandatory).

- Strong expertise in front-end technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and AJAX.

- Experience with API development and integration of third-party services.

- Proficiency with MySQL and SQL databases, including writing complex queries, optimizing database performance, and troubleshooting.

- Experience with server-side technologies like cURL for handling data requests.

- Familiarity with version control tools like Git for managing codebase and collaboration.

- Strong understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful services.

- Knowledge of AJAX for building fast and interactive web applications.

- Experience working with business intelligence applications and understanding data flows.

- Good understanding of web security best practices and data privacy standards.

- Ability to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.

- Good communication and logical thinking skills.

Preferred Skill Sets :

- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure for hosting and managing web applications.

- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular is a plus.

- Experience in using Agile or Scrum methodologies.

- Basic knowledge of Linux server administration
