Job Summary:

The Store Executive is responsible for assisting customers in the selection of mattress and furniture products, ensuring excellent customer service, and supporting the overall operations of the showroom. This role involves product demonstrations, inventory checks, handling customer queries, and contributing to a welcoming and organized store environment. The Store Executive will work closely with the store management team to drive sales and maintain showroom standards.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Assistance:
  • Greet customers and provide personalized assistance in selecting mattresses and furniture that meet their needs.
  • Answer product-related questions, offer demonstrations, and help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Ensure a seamless shopping experience by addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Sales Support:
  • Meet and exceed individual sales targets by engaging customers and upselling products.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure the showroom achieves its sales goals.
  • Process sales transactions, issue receipts, and manage basic point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Showroom Maintenance:
  • Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing by maintaining product displays.
  • Regularly check for damaged or misplaced items and ensure proper product placement according to company standards.
  • Assist with stock replenishment, including unpacking new shipments and updating inventory.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Conduct routine stock checks and assist with inventory management to ensure that products are always available.
  • Keep accurate records of sales, returns, and stock levels.
  • Report any stock discrepancies to the Store Manager and assist in inventory audits.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints or issues and escalate concerns to the Store Manager when necessary.
  • Provide after-sales support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Product Knowledge:
  • Stay updated on the latest product offerings, trends, and features of furniture and mattresses.
  • Participate in product training sessions to enhance sales skills and product expertise.



Requirements:

  • Education:  a degree in Business, Sales, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience: Prior experience in retail, customer service, or sales (preferably in the furniture or mattress industry) is preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage customers and provide excellent service.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with retail software.
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Other Qualifications:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and move heavy furniture or mattresses as needed.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
