Senior Power Bi DeveloperLocation: Dubai, UAE (Onsite)About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer with strong expertise in building enterprise-grade dashboards and working with SAP HANA as a primary data source. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end dashboard development, performance optimization, and collaborating with business stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights.Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to business requirements.- Work extensively with SAP HANA data models and optimize data extraction for large datasets.- Create and manage data models, DAX measures, and Power Query transformations to ensure efficient performance.- Collaborate with business users and functional teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Implement and manage row-level security, data refresh schedules, and workspace governance.- Integrate Power BI with other enterprise systems and tools where needed.- Troubleshoot data issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize report performance.- Stay updated on Power BI and SAP ecosystem enhancements to recommend improvements.Required Skills & Experience- 5+ years of experience in Power BI development, including advanced DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.- Strong experience connecting to and working with SAP HANA (views, calculation views, and query performance tuning).- Proficiency in building complex data models, measures, KPIs, and drill-through reports.- Experience with Power BI Service, including workspace management, security, and governance.- Solid understanding of ETL processes, data warehouses, and data integration best practices.- Experience in working in agile environments with cross-functional teams.- Excellent communication skills to interact with business and technical stakeholders.Nice to Have- Knowledge of Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, or Databricks).- Experience with SAP BW or SAP BO.- Experience in performance tuning of complex dashboards.- Power BI certification is an added advantage.Education- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.- Relevant certifications in Power BI or SAP HANA preferred.
