Title: HR Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a HR Specialist to join our team, dedicated to transactional HR activities for global HR functions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for HR operations, with a focus on analytics, Workday transactions, newsletter creation, data accuracy, and report generation. This role will primarily involve handling various HR processes such as hires, terminations, position openings, requisition management, and maintaining accurate HR data. Additionally, the Junior HR Specialist will be responsible for creating presentations and reports to support HR initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Execute and manage HR transactions in Workday, including but not limited to:
  • New hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, and organizational changes
  • Opening and managing positions and requisitions.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and completeness in HR systems.
  • Execute HR processes
  • Preparing documentation required for mobility cases
  • Fill in job slotting form with information provided
  • Attendance reporting and sending meeting invitations for larger events
  • Perform analytics and generate reports to support HR decision-making:
  • Compile and analyze HR data to identify trends and insights.
  • Create population tracking reports to monitor key HR metrics.
  • Create and distribute newsletters to keep employees informed of HR updates and initiatives.
  • Utilize the GBS (Global Business Services) platform to:
  • Create and manage tickets related to HR processes.
  • Collaborate with GBS teams to resolve HR-related issues efficiently.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives by:
  • Building PowerPoint presentations for training sessions, meetings, and reporting.
  • Assisting with ad hoc HR tasks and projects as needed.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in HR operations or a similar role preferred.
  • Proficiency in Workday or similar HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly PowerPoint and Excel).
