Lead and manage the development team in designing, building, and deploying scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using the Mendix low-code platform. Serve as the primary technical authority on Mendix development and architecture, ensuring the successful delivery of Mendix projects.

Job Title – Mendix Developer

Work Location – Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Noida, Chennai

Educational Background – bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Key Responsibilities - Lead the Mendix development team, providing technical guidance and mentorship.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into Mendix solutions.
  • Design and architect complex Mendix applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Develop custom modules, Microservices, and integrations using Mendix and associated technologies.
  • Configure and optimize Mendix applications for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Provide expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during development and deployment.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and quality guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Mendix applications with existing systems and infrastructure.
  • Stay updated on the latest Mendix features, updates, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

Skills Required – Strong proficiency in Mendix development, including experience with Microflows, Domain Models, and UI design.

  • Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Azure DevOps/JIRA).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members towards achieving project goals.
  • Mendix Developer Certification is a plus.

Additional Requirements - Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for Mendix applications.

  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and design patterns.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience in implementing Mendix solutions in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with database systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience in mentoring and training junior Mendix developers.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.
