Company Overview: We are a startup in Ideation Stage, building a platform. We want to build recommendation engine like YouTube and Instagram. Our platform will recommend image posts, videos and eCommerce products according to user's interests.


To achieve this, we’re looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer who can develop the Machine Learning models so that we can build our recommendation engine.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement machine learning models to build the recommendation engine of our platform.
  • Analyze user behavior data to optimize and improve the accuracy of recommendations.
  • Utilize advanced recommendation algorithms , including collaborative filtering, content-based filtering, and hybrid models, to enhance user engagement.
  • Work closely with data engineers to ensure the availability, quality, and reliability of the data used for training models.
  • Continuously evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and iterate on models to improve recommendation precision and user satisfaction.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and developments in machine learning and recommendation systems to integrate cutting-edge techniques into our platform.


Key Qualifications


  • 5+ years of experience in machine learning , with a focus on building and deploying recommendation systems.
  • Proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Deep understanding of recommendation algorithms (e.g., collaborative filtering, content-based filtering, hybrid models).
  • Strong background in data preprocessing , feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
  • Solid foundation in statistics and data analysis to drive insights and model improvements.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, backend developers, cloud architects and frontend developers.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
