Responsibilities:

  • Architecture, Design, and Implementation:
  • Lead the architecture and design efforts for deploying applications and services on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements and scalability needs.
  • Implement best practices for GCP services utilization and optimization.
  • Networking and Infrastructure Setup:
  • Configure and maintain networking infrastructure for web hosting and content delivery environments.
  • Establish secure and efficient infrastructure setups for high availability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot network-related issues and optimize network performance.
  • Automation and Orchestration:
  • Develop automation scripts and workflows for provisioning, deployment, and scaling of GCP resources.
  • Implement infrastructure as code practices using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
  • Orchestrate complex workflows and pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
  • Cloud Reliability and Security Practices:
  • Define and enforce cloud reliability best practices to ensure system availability and resilience.
  • Implement security controls and practices to safeguard GCP environments and data.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, perform regular audits, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
  • In-depth knowledge of GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Networking, etc.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and infrastructure setup in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
