Urban Planner

Responsibilities: Conduct on-site investigations to determine factors affecting community development and potential decline including land usage.Account for traffic growth and manage solutions for common transportation needs.Oversee project development and help in providing affordable housing.Plan and design townships and cities promoting healthy and active lifestyles.Creating maps, sketches, drawings, and layouts as needed to support planning projects.Compiling development data, including facility inventories and land use estimates for proposed developments.Protect and preserve historical monuments and sites.Assist in planning and reviving low socio-economic areas within the district.Assist with preparation of reports and project documentation.Utilization of software program like AutoCAD and GIS to recreate buildings and public spaces and parks.Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Urban Design or Planning. 5 10 years’ experience as technical lead coordinating with project team.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, MS office and Sketch-up. Demonstrating the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Working effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and integrated design solutions.
