Job Summary: QE Complex Problem Analysis

This role focuses on design validation, root cause analysis, and process improvement within automotive engineering, emphasizing precision and problem-solving across the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Verification & Validation:

  • Use CATIA or similar tools for assembly, dimensioning, and space analysis.

  • Conduct tolerance stacking and comparative part studies to validate complex designs.

  • Vehicle Analysis & Issue Resolution:

  • Perform dimensional checks on vehicles and assess against standards.

  • Apply RCA and CAPA methodologies to prevent reoccurrence of issues.

  • Advanced Measurement Techniques:

  • Operate CMM and Faro laser scanners.

  • Use Polyworks for probing and scanning; interpret GD&T and metrology data.

  • Process & Model Knowledge:

  • Understand full process from supplier to car manufacturing.

  • Conduct FMEA, identify gaps, and propose improvements.

  • Familiar with new model development flows and event purposes.

  • Communication & Problem Solving:

  • Clearly articulate requirements and coordinate effectively.

  • Apply critical thinking tools like 5 Why and 5W2H to develop solutions.
