Network Security Professional
Purpose Of Role:
The primary purpose of the Technical management professional is to keep network operation up and stable. He will be responsible for weekend changes on firewalls. Security Engineers need to have experience in designing, deploying, and fixing network security, extensive experience with Firewall technology, such as Cisco ASA, Fortigate Cisco ACI/ Nexus 5K,7K,9K etc and thorough knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and routing protocols.
Qualifications:
College degree or equivalent Technical Training.
4-7 years relevant work experience in Network operations (Routing, Switching, ACI/Nexus, Firewall)
Hands on knowledge of IPSEC and SSLVPN
Vendor certifications (‎‎Cisco 350-401 ENCOR, 350-601 DCCOR)
Skills/Experience:
• Must have working knowledge on following product areas:
Routing & Switching (Level3 Expertise) -> Must
Cisco ACI and Nexus DC Technologies-> Must
Cisco & Fortinet Firewall-> Must
Incident, Problem and Change Management-> Must
Responsibility:
Strong Incident handling skills for P1/P2/P3 cases on Network & Security Domain
Excellent hands-on on Routing Switching, STP, Portchannel, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, DMVPN.
Datacenter technologies like Cisco ACI, APIC, Leaf-spine, IPN, Nexus 5k, 7k, 9k switches
Implementing security measures, providing technical supervision and advice as required.
Excellent understanding of routing & switching, Load Balancing & firewall security.
Cisco ASA & Firepower and Fortinet Firewall, Forti Manager,
Excellent technical skills for complex network architecture from banking & Broker Sector aligned with the business's requirements
Can work under pressure as individual and lead the team during critical activity or P1/P2 issues.
Strong working knowledge in Configurations of VRF, VRRP, HSRP, Load Sharing, Policy Based Routing, Access Control Lists, VLAN, NAT
Strong knowledge of RADIUS and TACACS+ protocols, Configuring and troubleshooting stateful and multi context firewall like Cisco ASA and Firepower, Cisco ISE
Proficient in collaboration with 3rd party suppliers and partners.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Good knowledge in ITIL process and can work align with ITIL framework
