Senior Consultant – Client Servicing Role Summary The Senior Consultant on the Investment Operations Outsourcing (IOO) SME/BA team is a strategic business analyst and subject matter expert responsible for leading the transformation of client reporting platforms, with a strong emphasis on CORIC-to-Kurtosys migration . This role combines deep domain knowledge of IOO processes with hands-on experience in business analysis, data architecture, and stakeholder engagement. The consultant will also play a key role in training team members , identifying data gaps , and representing Northern Trust in vendor discussions . Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Documentation Lead the creation of Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)  and functional specifications for reporting and data transformation initiatives. Conduct detailed gap analysis , data mapping , and workflow assessments  to support platform migrations and enhancements. Translate complex business needs into actionable technical requirements for development and configuration teams. CORIC & Kurtosys Expertise Serve as the primary SME for CORIC , with deep understanding of layouts, data blocks, and reporting logic. Drive the migration from CORIC to Kurtosys , including:Designing and configuring workflowsSupporting data visualization and reporting logicEnsuring data integrity and alignment across platforms Provide ongoing support  for monthly and quarterly reporting cycles on both platforms. Training & Knowledge Sharing Develop and deliver training sessions  for team members on:CORIC reporting structures and logicBusiness analysis best practicesKurtosys configuration and reporting workflows Create reusable documentation, templates, and knowledge assets to build team capability. Data Gap Identification & Remediation Proactively identify missing or insufficient data points  required for successful Kurtosys migration. Collaborate with internal Northern Trust data teams to ensure required data fields are available  in Snowflake or other relevant databases. Draft and validate requirements for new data views or tables to support reporting needs. Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement Represent Northern Trust in vendor calls , articulating business requirements clearly and driving issues to closure independently. Collaborate with internal partners (e.g., NA BAs, data teams) to align on requirements, timelines, and deliverables. Participate in client onboarding  and new instance testing , ensuring readiness and quality Qualifications Required Skills 8+ years of experience in investment operations , middle office , or asset management . Proven experience as a Business Analyst  in reporting or data transformation projects. Hands-on expertise in CORIC (Equisoft)  and Kurtosys  platforms. Strong understanding of IBOR reporting , workflow controls , and data governance . Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional initiatives. Education Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) Eligibility for Internal partners •3 years as a Team Leader to move as a Section Manager currently at an Officer level. •24 months as a Consultant to move as a Senior Consultant. Movement within Senior Consultant and Section Manager is applicable if they have prior 36 months of people management experience.
