Job Description:
As a Recruitment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in attracting and selecting qualified candidates for various positions within the educational institution. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process, and supporting the HR team in acquiring top talent.
Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment Strategy and Planning:
- Collaborate with hiring managers and HR team to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Identify effective sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and partnerships with educational institutions.
- Develop and maintain a pool of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
- Candidate Sourcing and Screening:
- Utilize various sourcing techniques to attract candidates, such as resume databases, job postings, and proactive outreach.
- Screen resumes and applications, assessing candidates' qualifications, skills, and experience.
- Conduct phone or initial interviews to evaluate candidate suitability for further consideration.
- Interviewing and Selection:
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and interview panels.
- Conduct structured interviews and utilize behavioral and competency-based interview techniques.
- Assess candidates' cultural fit, technical competence, and alignment with job requirements.
- Candidate Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, providing regular updates and feedback throughout the recruitment process.
- Serve as the main point of contact for candidates, addressing their inquiries and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Communicate offers to successful candidates and facilitate the negotiation process if necessary.
- Recruitment Process Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and documentation in the applicant tracking system.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, including data privacy and equal employment opportunity regulations.
- Prepare and distribute job offer letters, contracts, and related documentation.
- Employer Branding and Talent Acquisition:
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
- Collaborate with the marketing or communications team to develop engaging job postings and employer brand messaging.
- Participate in career fairs, networking events, and industry-specific forums to promote the institution as an employer of choice.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist or similar role, preferably within the education sector.
- In-depth knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and selection methodologies.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR databases.
- Strong interviewing and assessment skills, including behavioural and competency-based interviewing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
Salary Range : Rs 20,000 to Rs 35,000
