Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Range Ultrasonic Testing (LRUT) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing LRUT Inspection, ensuring the integrity and safety of pipelines. This role requires a strong understanding of LRUT principles, the ability to operate and maintain testing equipment, and the capacity to analyze and interpret testing data.


Key Responsibilities:


LRUT Testing and Inspection:

  • Conduct LRUT inspections on above ground and underground buried pipelines.
  • Ensure adherence to testing protocols and industry standards.
  • Set up and calibrate LRUT equipment according to specifications.


Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze LRUT data to detect anomalies and defects.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results.


Equipment Maintenance:

  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of LRUT equipment.
  • Ensure all testing equipment is in proper working order and calibrated as required.


Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Participate in safety meetings and training sessions as required.


Team Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with other technicians, engineers, and project managers.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians.


Qualifications:

  • B.Tech or Diploma Course
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in LRUT
  • NDT Level-II in UT
  • GUL LRUT Level - 1 should be preferable
  • Strong understanding of ultrasonic testing principles and methods.
  • Proficiency in using LRUT equipment and software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
